However, it is not simply the sentient celestial creation that worships. The whole of the creation is shown to worship God. This is particularly evident within the Psalter of Israel (e.g. Ps. 148; Ps. 96; cf. 1 Chron. 16:23–33), but not exclusively so (see, for example, Rev. 5:13). An analysis of these passages demonstrates that the non-sentient creation worships God by doing his will. It exists for him, and obeys him. This is seen in the very language of Genesis itself.
